The kids didn't have school today so we have had a party for a solid 24 hours..... Thank you HaLloWeEn!
This is how we ended our night.....PuMpKiN carving. I can't remember the last time we actually did this with our kids. The seemed not to remember ever doing it.

This is just after we cut the tops off. I actually cut my bottom off, I heard that it was the new thing and easier to put the pumpkin on top of a candle instead of trying to stick your arm down the hole....

Jaden digging in the hole for the first time...

Morgan attempting to find all the seeds....moms favorite!!

.....don't let them fool you, I think I did all the gross digging!
They didn't like it one bit.....
Britton sure loved it.....
And the finished results????
Morgan is all about the Cougars. Everything is Blue for BYU,
so this fit her perfect!
Jaden is just the opposite. He definitely bleeds red! U,u,u,utah!
Britton is a Ute fan too, but we just copied his happy face

Oh the BOYS....

One of the wonderful things about having 4 kids, is all the entertainment from siblings. Jaden and Britton were doing a great job of keeping Mason entertained while I was busy. I started to hear him fuss a little and went to find him. It took some time, but this is what I found.....

Yes MOM, I am in here....

If you look up close, he does have a huge grin.
This was one of a few moments where, I said...."Wait! I need to get a picture!"

6 Weeks already...

I finally deciede to brave the cold/flu/RSV season and take this little guy out to get some pictures taken. All of my other kids had them done by the time they were a week old. So we are late, but at least healthy. Here is a little update about him....
Mason W. Tidwell
Very good sleeper.....and eater
Loves to be snuggled in his soft blankies
Smiles all the time
Is a very good talker....(or should I say Coo's)
He was such a good baby for his pictures, and they turned out so cute. I am glad I finally went and did it. Thanks Whitney and Emery for coming and hanging out with us!

Baby info...sorry its so late!

Here's the late update for those who don't know yet... My birthday is on the 23rd of January and I have a nephew and niece who share a birthday on the 21st of January. My due date was on the 27th of January (Tuesday). My first two boys were both due on a Tuesday and I had them the Friday before, so if the case is the same on this pregnancy I would have delivered on my birthday (sorry Nat, but I did not want to do that). BUT, I also didn't want to add a third birthday in the family on the 21st of January. I kept telling this baby he either had to come on the 22nd or the 24th. So having all these birthdays to celebrate we went to Chuck-E-Cheese for the birthdays on the 21st! We had a ton of fun. I kept track of time and telling myself I needed to make it a few more hours to get past the 21st. Keep in mind I am not in labor whatsoever. Yea I made it! The morning of the 22nd I had to get up early to get some jetBlue shifts covered. So I am lying in bed using my phone to get the shifts off and then it happens. My first contraction. I text mom and say today is the day and an hour or so text Whitney. I said I don't know the plan yet but I will call, in the meantime I am keeping track of those dang contractions. So, Whitney as wonderful as she is calls immediately. Is it time??? Whats the plan??? That then wakes up Mike. So Mike showers and I get ready and mom comes down. Then Whitney gets there to get the kids up and ready for school. THANK YOU...THANK YOU! Mike and I are out the door by about 7:30. Taking our time to the hospital we stop for doughnuts and drinks!
At the hospital.... I check in, kind of embarrassed because I know I go fast, but I just didn't know what my status was, since I hadn't been to the Dr for a week. I get checked and admitted! I have heard stories of ladies getting sent home since they aren't far enough along. I would have hated that. Anyways, knowing I have to get an IV this time and antibiotics I am prepared for a long day sitting around.
To make a long story short, everything went super well! I couldn't have asked for anything to make it better. Time went by fast trying to waste time for the meds to run the course. My Dr just happened to be at the same hospital in the OR and could make it. And finally when my Dr got there I was ready to go and I kid you not, FIVE minutes after he got to my room the little guy was born. Great delivery, maybe 2-3 pushes and this sweet little angel arrives! No problems or complications.....this is great! I can do it a million times! HA HA...
So here are a few pictures, I am a month late in posting, and feel totally guilty because I haven't gotten the camera out as much as I would like to, I will try to be a little better to get some good shots in!

I don't know why it has taken Mike this long to get him into hockey, but Jaden has finally played his first real "hockey game". Jaden was so excited to get all of his gear on and play. The hockey season is pretty much half way over, he is one of the youngest but we thought we would take him to see how he does. He just got right in and started chasing the puck like all the other little kids. We have a movie of it and when I figure out how to put it on here I will. You will love it! It is so stinking cute to watch!

I didn't realize how bad the pictures are....just wait for the movie!

Christmas 2008!

We had a wonderful Christmas this year. The kids are at such a fun age! We finally have our days figured out between all of our family so it doesn't seem like we are running, running, running! Christmas Eve we spent the evening at Tidwells with all the cousins. There are a lot of little ones running around when we all get together and they have so much fun playing. Grandma got them all matching PJ'S...Spiderman for the boys and Princess for the girls! Christmas morning we got to spend at home and that afternoon went up to the Smiths to play with those cousins. We had a yummy fondue dinner, and of course our fun Lagoon passes from grandma and grandpa. We sure do love that, so we can have a fun filled summer! Thank you all for such a wonderful year!

Morgan asked Santa for her very own "Apple" computer....She must have been very good!

Morgan and Jaden wanted to get Britton his own scooter so he could play outside with them this year. Thanks to Whitney he was lucky to get Batman instead of Diego!
Jaden got a huge race track that has two cars with remote controls that you race. It's so big!

Merry Christmas!

Jaden and our neighbor Shilo both share December birthdays. So we took the families to the new Chuck-E-Cheese in Layton. We had a blast. The pizza was okay, I've had better and worse, unlimited drinks (always a plus), and about a million tokens.

I sent the kids off with a cup of about 20 tokens each...finally when the pizza came, they still had a hand full of tokens. I thought they would go a lot faster than they did.
After we ate, I went to check on the is what I found Jaden doing....and I swear an hour later, here is what I found Jaden doing....

Britton enjoyed the games as well...he wasnt about to share his shot gun either!

Morgan and Shilo were entertained with the ones that would print out your pictures. And I think Mike enjoyed it the most, since this was his activity the whole time (there was a football throwing game and basketball that he traded off with)!

All in all it was a great night with lots of entertainment all for about $40.00....not to bad!

Jaden turns FIVE.....

We've had the kids in skating lessons, so for Jadens birthday we decided to have a skating party! All of the kids did so good on the ice...even the adults can skate.

Cade, Jaden and Britton
Taking a break for some cake and ice cream...

Getting ready to go on the ice again. We all had a great time and the "BIRTHDAY BOY" loved his party with all his cousins!
Thank you everyone!
